Victor Iyke is an AMVCA-winning filmmaker, director, and producer with a strong passion for cinematic storytelling and emotionally driven narratives.
His work spans across film, television, documentaries, and travel filmmaking, combining visually immersive cinematography with authentic human storytelling.
Victor has collaborated on award-winning productions including NNE and Uhuruchi, both recognised at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), Africa’s biggest film awards. These projects represent a core vision: delivering premium cinematic content that blends African perspectives with globally relatable themes.
As a filmmaker, his creative vision is inspired by culture, movement, identity, adventure, and the emotional complexities of everyday human experiences. He continues to push artistic boundaries, creating narratives designed to entertain, inspire, and connect audiences across cultures.
He continues to build a creative slate of projects under Checkmate Pictures, focusing on international collaborations, digital platforms, and premium film/television productions that remain emotionally grounded and commercially engaging.
